Harris and Tucker School provides much more than just child care services. An important element of our mission is to enhance children their families and our community withenriched life experiences. Since 1970, where possible, we have strived to provide services that will ease the burden of our working parents. In order for us to achieve that goal, we provide many services that integrate the family and the community into the educational and care-giving process.
In addition to these services, we have also added a first in our community, A Preschool Culinary Arts Program, which has had a positive impact on the health and wellness aspects of the lives of the children and families we serve. Within the culinary art program we strive to educate children their families and the community about the importance of good nutrition, a balance diet and proper use of kitchen utensils. We provide weekly instruction in computer, Spanish education, media technology, as well as daily Physical Fitness activities.
